Advanced Full-Arch Restoration Systems

Modern Dental Creations engineers high-performance dentures and overdentures designed to restore both facial aesthetics and masticatory function. By combining premium materials with clinical expertise, we provide solutions for even the most challenging edentulous cases.

A full arch denture restoration is a treatment that replaces an entire row of missing teeth (a full dental arch) using a denture-style prosthesis. That means all the teeth on the upper jaw, lower jaw, or both are restored together rather than one tooth at a time.

It’s essentially a type of full arch restoration where the replacement teeth are designed as a denture.

There are two main categories:

Traditional full dentures

  • Rest directly on the gums
  • Removable
  • No implants required
  • Lower cost
  • May move or slip while eating or speaking

Implant-supported full arch dentures

These are more modern and stable.

Common versions include:

  • Snap-in dentures — removable dentures that attach to implants
  • Fixed full arch dentures — permanently attached to implants and removed only by a dentist

A typical implant-supported arch uses:

  • 2–6 dental implants for removable overdentures
  • 4–6 implants for fixed restorations (such as “All-on-4”)

What the prosthesis looks like

The denture restoration usually includes:

  • Artificial teeth
  • A gum-colored base
  • Sometimes a titanium or zirconia support structure

Why people get it

A full arch denture restoration may be recommended when someone:

  • Has lost all or most teeth in an arch
  • Has severe tooth decay or gum disease
  • Has failing dental work
  • Wants better stability than traditional dentures

Benefits

  • Restores appearance and chewing ability
  • Can improve speech
  • Implant-supported versions feel more secure
  • Often more affordable than replacing every tooth individually with implants

Removable Dentures

Total tooth loss can lead to muscle atrophy and a collapsed facial profile. Our custom-fabricated dentures restore vertical dimension and lip support, providing a more youthful appearance.

  • Precision Fit: Crafted using high-quality acrylics and anatomical resin teeth tailored to your patient's unique morphology.
  • Material Upgrades: Choose industry-leading Lucitone 199® for high-impact resistance or premium IPN and Bioblend teeth for lifelike translucency.
  • Enhanced Durability: For patients with a history of prosthetic failure, we offer custom-cast mesh subframes to reinforce the palate and ridges against fractures.
  • Patient Identification: We can embed clinician-requested identifiers directly into the acrylic for regulatory compliance or institutional requirements.

Patient Adaptation & Clinical Success

New prosthetics require a transition period. We provide the following guidance to assist your patients during the settling-in phase:

  • Proprioception: Initial "fullness" is common as facial tissues adapt to regained support.
  • Speech: Phonetic clarity typically returns quickly with practice and precise jaw relationship mapping.
  • Retention: In cases of "tongue thrust" where traditional suction fails, we recommend evaluating for an overdenture solution.

Specialized Processing Options

Lucitone 199® High-Impact Acrylic

The professional standard for durability. Lucitone 199 offers superior fracture resistance and natural shading, reducing long-term repair costs and increasing patient satisfaction.

Monomer-Free Solutions (Lucitone FRS®)

Ideal for patients with acrylic sensitivities or high aesthetic demands.

  • Biocompatible: A thermoplastic, monomer-free resin that is lightweight and stain-resistant.
  • Flexibility: Offers a microcrystalline structure that is easy to adjust and polish, providing a comfortable, semi-flexible fit.
  • Note: FRS restorations require rebasing rather than traditional relining.

Immediate & Transitional Solutions

  • Interim (Immediate) Dentures: Placed immediately post-extraction to ensure the patient never leaves without a smile. These serve as a functional temporary during the healing phase before final prosthetic fabrication.
  • Cu-Sil® Partials: A unique transitional solution that utilizes an elastomeric gasket to splint and save isolated natural teeth, preventing the torque often caused by metal clasps.

Overdentures & Implant Retained Systems

For patients with advanced ridge resorption, overdentures provide significantly enhanced stability. These systems utilize remaining natural roots or dental implants to anchor the prosthetic, preventing slippage and improving confidence.

Custom Aesthetic Features

We offer specialized characterization to meet specific patient desires:

  • High-End Tooth Selection: 5-layer cross-linked teeth for superior wear and shading.
