Removable Frameworks & Flexible Partials

At Modern Dental Creations, we provide high-performance removable solutions tailored to patient needs—from the rigid stability of metal frameworks to the seamless aesthetics of flexible nylon resins.

A cast framework is the custom metal structure that forms the strong, hidden backbone of many dental prosthetics. It supports the artificial teeth and gums, ensuring the replacement stays rigid and fits perfectly over your natural teeth or implants.
Core Functions
    • Structural Strength: Prevents the prosthetic from bending, cracking, or breaking under heavy chewing forces.
    • Precise Fit: Made from accurate molds of your mouth to distribute biting pressure evenly.
    • Prosthetic Support: Acts as the solid base where acrylic gums and porcelain or plastic teeth are attached.

Common Types
    • Partial Denture Framework: A removable metal mesh with built-in clasps that hook onto your remaining natural teeth for stability.
    • Implant Bridge Framework: A hidden metal bar (like the one used in All-on-4 systems) that screws directly into dental implants.

Materials Used
Dentists use medical-grade, biocompatible metals that resist corrosion and cause no allergic reactions:
    • Cobalt-Chromium (Co-Cr): High strength, lightweight, and the most common choice for partial dentures.
    • Nickel-Chromium (Ni-Cr): A budget-friendly alternative, though used less often due to potential nickel allergies.
    • Titanium: Extremely lightweight, highly biocompatible, and excellent for implant-supported structures.

How It Is Made
  1. Impression: The dentist takes a digital scan or a physical mold of your mouth.
  2. Wax Pattern: A lab technician creates a detailed wax replica of the metal frame.
  3. Molding: The wax is encased in a plaster-like material to create a mold cavity.
  4. Casting: The wax is melted away, and molten metal is poured into the empty space.
  5. Finishing: The metal is cooled, polished, and tested for a perfect fit before adding the teeth

Cast Partial Frameworks

Our cast partials are the structural gold standard for patients requiring maximum chewing power and durability.

  • Precision Engineering: Every framework is meticulously surveyed for an optimal path of insertion and a low-profile, "lightweight" fit that minimizes speech interference.
  • Premium Alloys: We utilize medical-grade, nickel-free, and beryllium-free alloys (including Vitallium® 2000) to ensure biocompatibility and fracture resistance.
  • Custom Configurations: Choose from traditional cast clasps, precision attachments, or hybrid designs that pair a metal base with aesthetic, flexible clasps.

Flexible Partials (tcs® & Valplast®)

For a "near-invisible" restoration, our flexible thermoplastics offer the ultimate in comfort and natural aesthetics.

  • Seamless Blending: The high translucency of Valplast® and tcs® resins allows the patient's natural tissue tones to show through, making the appliance virtually undetectable.
  • Biocompatible & Resilient: These 100% monomer-free materials are hypoallergenic and virtually unbreakable, adapting comfortably to the natural contours of the mouth.
  • Indications: Ideal for patients with metal sensitivities, those needing aesthetic anterior replacements, or as a high-end transitional restoration during implant healing.
